How long does a cyber security assessment take?
A focused assessment — like an Essential 8 review or an M365 security check — usually takes 3 to 5 business days on our end, with the report and debrief done within a week or so after that. A broader risk assessment covering your whole environment will generaly run one to two weeks. We always scope it properly upfront so there are no suprises on timing or cost.
How is cyber security different from standard IT support?
IT support keeps your systems running. Cyber security asks the harder question: if someone tried to get in, would they succeed? The two jobs are related but they're not the same thing, and a lot of businesses assume good IT support means good security — it doesn't automaticaly.
